RTG Inc. was founded in 1985 by Kurt Rasmussen to provide specialized electronic consulting in the areas of RF/analog and mixed signal circuits and system design. Services included development of Cadence application software and integrated circuit design for:
- High speed ADC / DAC converters for wireless networks
- Magnetic tape head electronics
- Transceivers operating from 300Mhz up to 2.4 Ghz
- Power management for micro-ampere to multi-ampere control and regulation
In the late 1990′s RTG was fulfilling customer requirements for design-to-production custom integrated circuits. A few years later, RTG had evolved from consulting services to a fabless semiconductor company that provided unique custom integrated circuits to the RF/analog and power management fields.
RTG is now offering standard products to make its technology more readily accessible to lower volume manufactures of electronic products.
