RTG has both Money Purchase and Profit Sharing retirement plans. These are
defined contribution plans. The contributions to the RTG retirement plans are
completely made by the company (no deductions from the employee's pay), which
is unlike 401k plans where the employee must have money withheld from their
pay. Maximum contributions by the company are limited by law. For example, in 2000, the limits were 25 percent
of gross pay or $30,000 per year. Since 1994, participants in the
retirement plans have enjoyed maximum contributions permitted by law.
Participants in these plans have the option of self-managing the
contributions to their retirement through a brokerage account similar to a
self-directed IRA. Vesting is after two years of service. These plans
maximize the employee's after-tax income and are a cornerstone to a
secure future.
